After completing his super-speciality training in Pediatric Hepatology (DM course) from Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences, New Delhi, Dr Vikrant Sood joined as faculty in the same department, the only said pediatric hepatology department in the country. He has been working in the pediatric hepatology department since its very inception and the entire team has been instrumental in establishing a fully functional unit which is well equipped for prompt management of infectious, metabolic and hereditary liver diseases in neonates, children and adolescent, including successful running the only public sector pediatric liver transplant program in the country. In his limited career span, he has done and initiated research and published papers in the field of wilson’s disease, pediatric acute liver failure, portal hypertension and other core areas of pediatric hepatology which have been published in national and international journals of repute.

Dr. Sood is one of the key note speakers and is undertaking regular trainings for all levels of healthcare workers on pediatric viral hepatitis.

Dr. Reshu Agarwal is currently working as Associate Professor at ILBS, New Delhi. She has been graduated from Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra and MD Microbiology from AIIMS, New Delhi. She had completed her senior residency from AIIMS and also worked as Senior Research Associate under CSIR at AIIMS.  Her major areas of interest include clinical virology, post-transplant viral infections, molecular virology.

She has been instrumental in planning and execution of viral hepatitis diagnostic support program for laboratory professionals on viral hepatitis & COVID-19 under project PRAKASH. She is also taking regular lectures for all levels of healthcare workers and has successfully trained over 10,000 healthcare workers under the projects.

Dr. Ashish has completed his PDCC in transfusion medicine from ILBS, in 2015. He has completed hid MBBS from RNT Medical college, Udaipur and MD from PGI Chandigarh. At present he is working as faculty in department of transfusion medicine at ILBS.

Dr. Ashish has teaching experience of more than 8 years and in regularly involved in many training programs of NACO, ECHO & PRAKASH at national level as a resource faculty. He has been awarded the Young Investigator Award at ISBT, Dubai 2016 for his research work on Guillain Barre Syndrome patients with TPE. He is member of the International society of blood transfusion and life time member of the Indian society of transfusion Medicine. He has played an instrumental role in establishing Plasma Bank in ILBS which was first of its kind in the country.

Dr. Ashish is one of the key resource speakers under project PRAKASH and is delivering talks on bio-medical waste management. He is supporting team in developing IEC material on viral hepatitis and infection prevention for display in hospitals across India.

Dr. Mini George has completed B. Sc. (Hons.) Nursing in 1988 and Master of Nursing in 1998, both from Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing under MOH&FW/ University of Delhi. She is specialized in Child Health Nursing. She has also completed M.Phil in Nursing (Manipal College of Nursing) and Ph.D. from the University of Kerala. She has more than 25 years of experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has served in various capacities during this period and has more than ten years of experience in the capacity of Professor cum Principal.

She has served as inspection team member for the INC, state councils and various Universities. She is Paper setter, Valuator and Examiner for Child Health Nursing, Nursing Education, Nursing Research and Nursing Administration at different University. She has taken part in curriculum revision of Universities and has also served as Guide and Examiner for Nursing research studies. Her areas of research interest include Adolescent Health and Neonatology. She has been a resource person at various National and International workshops and conferences.

Dr. Mini George has been associated with project PRAKASH since 2018 and has helped the team in conducting trainings for nursing professionals at regular intervals. It is because of her support that the faculty from college of nursing ILBS has been undertaking regular lectures for participants on viral hepatitis and its complications.

Ms. Sarita Ahwal has completed her B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in nursing from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She Specializes in Medical Surgical Nursing with more than 8 years of experience in research and teaching. Her research work is Published several articles in National and International Journals. Has been a reviewer with CBS publications for various books. She has been resource person and organizer in various projects, programs and national & international workshops including 8th & 9th World Congress on Clinical, Preventive Cardiology and Imaging”. She is also member in scientific research and ethics committee at ILBS and Research Guidance for UG and PG thesis for M.Sc. students.

Ms. Ahwal is delivering sessions on viral hepatitis, liver diseases and COVID-19 under project ECHO, & PRAKASH since 2018 and has successfully trained more than 8,000 hcws across the country. She is also supporting team in developing scientific content for modules and programs on regular basis.

Ms. Tarika Sharma has completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in nursing from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. She holds more than six years of experience in research and teaching and Specializes in Medical Surgical Nursing, Sub Specialty being Cardiovascular and CTVS Nursing. She has recently joined as an Editorial Board member in Journal of Perioperative and Critical Intensive Care Nursing. Her areas of interest are nursing empowerment, medical surgical nursing and nursing research.

Ms. Tarika is delivering lectures under project PRAKASH since 2018 and has trained over 8,000 HCWs on various aspects of viral hepatitis and infection prevention. She is also supporting team in developing scientific schedules for the training programs and questionnaire so that an effective training can be implemented. In addition to this, she is also taking national level trainings on various other liver ailments under project ECHO & LEAD at ILBS.
